Pharmacy delivery using Chemist2U
Chemist2U has taken the hassle out of having to find and take a trip to a pharmacy near you. Our easy-to-use app automatically connects you to a nearby pharmacy, all you have to do is enter your address.
Follow the steps below to experience a new level of pharmacy convenience:
- Download our app (recommended) or click here to enter your delivery address to see the pharmacy near you.
- Once you enter your address, you will receive an estimated delivery time frame.
- Browse through the store, adding any over-the counter medication you want.
- To order prescription medication online, simply upload your electronic prescription (eSript) or a photo of your paper script. This will be quickly processed by your local partner pharmacy.
- Once your script has been approved, you will be notified to make final payment (see below for more information on pricing).
- After you approve your order, you will receive SMS updates to confirm the delivery of your prescription medications are on track. If at any time there are issues or you need help, our customer service team is available here.
How long will it take to deliver?
The beauty of Chemist2U’s extensive pharmacy network is that there’s probably a pharmacy near you.
If you order before the indicated cut off (typically 2pm, subject to where you are located) we will deliver your pharmacy order the same day.
The general wait time is a few hours. For example, if you order before 10AM you can expect a delivery between 11AM to 3PM the same day.
This will save you countless hours, with no more trips to the chemist just to find out that they don’t have what you need in stock or being stuck in long check out queues. You no longer need to get off the couch to get what you need from a chemist near you!
Do you have an e-script?
eScripts, also known as electronic prescriptions, are a type of prescription that is generated, stored, and transmitted electronically. eScripts are a convenient way to get prescription medicines without having to worry about losing the paper script you usually get from your GP. eScripts can be easily accessed through your smartphone or email, and are sent to you in the form of a unique QR code (also called a ‘token’).
You can have multiple medications stored in one eScript, and we can deliver your eScript prescriptions (excluding Schedule 8 medications) straight from the chemist to you.
What medication can I order online?
If the pharmacy near you stocks it, Chemist2U can deliver it. We partner with local pharmacies nationwide to help Australians access their prescription medications quicker and easier than ever.
Chemist2U offers the medications you would expect to find on the high street, along with the other products found in retail pharmacies nearby. To order over-the-counter medicines simply browse and “add to cart”.
All prescription medications, other than Schedule 8 medications, are available for dispensing and same day delivery from a partner pharmacy near you.
Order your prescription medication online by simply uploading your electronic prescription or a photo of your paper script. It will be swiftly processed and filled by one of our partner pharmacies.
Once your Chemist2U order is approved and your payment is received, we will confirm your delivery time, and send SMS updates on how your order is tracking. This all happens within just a few hours when you order before the same day cut off! Otherwise, your order will be delivered the next day (or Monday if your order is received after the cut off time on a Saturday).
Need a new script?
Chemist2U has partnered with InstantScripts so you can easily request an online prescription from the comfort and safety of your own home, and have your medication delivered straight from a chemist near you.
Our partnership with InstantScripts means that our customers don’t necessarily have to go to the GP to get a new prescription.
InstantScripts is an online service that can issue prescriptions approved by a registered Australian doctor within minutes. All you have to do is complete a short questionnaire or online consultation with a doctor.
You can request a script, if you know what medication you need, or book an online consultation with a GP.
It’s fast and secure, and you will be given the option to have Chemist2U deliver your prescription medication straight to you from one of our pharmacy partners near you.
