Why Australians choose Chemist2U

At Chemist2U, we know that living with long-term serious health conditions come with daily challenges. Many people feel uncertain and unfamiliar about navigating complex treatment options, concerned about cost, privacy, and the impact of different therapies on their everyday lives.

Our role is to make access to prescribed medicines simple, safe, and supportive. We focus on timely and discreet home delivery, clear information about how your medicines fit with your overall treatment plan, and professional pharmacist guidance every step of the way.

By keeping patient care, transparency, and compliance at the centre of what we do, Chemist2U aims to ease the process so you can focus on what matters most – your wellbeing.

Your health, delivered with care

Chemist2U offers home delivery of all the prescription (provided you have a valid prescription) and non-prescription medications available in a community pharmacy . This includes complementary and alternative medicines and those accessed through authorised prescribers or the Special Access Scheme.  This home delivery service can be particularly helpful for patients in rural or regional areas, or for products that are not readily available from all pharmacies.

Dispensed by our qualified and licensed pharmacists, your medicines are shipped securely and delivered to your door. These trusted pharmacies are familiar with and stock a wide range of medicines. By working directly with pharmacies, we help ensure that products are dispensed responsibly, in line with legal requirements, and with appropriate guidance available when needed.

Working with pharmacies that maintain reliable stock provides you with several important benefits:

  • Consistency of supply – When a pharmacy regularly carries the products you rely on; it reduces the likelihood of delays or interruptions.
  • Peace of mind – Knowing that a pharmacy has ongoing availability means you can feel confident that your needs will be met.
  • Professional oversight – Pharmacists play a key role in ensuring medicines are dispensed appropriately and that you have access to advice and support.
  • Convenience – With secure home delivery, you can receive your products discreetly and without the need to travel or make multiple calls to find availability.

Our focus is on making access safe, discreet, and compassionate, with the assurance that comes from dispensing by qualified and licensed pharmacists.

General FAQ's

How long does the delivery take?

Delivery times vary by location but are typically within 1–3 business days for most metro areas. Choose an option that suits you

Can I pick up my medications?

Click & Collect is available from partner pharmacies in metro and major urban areas. Click and Collect is not available for restricted medications or medications that are hard to access.

Can Chemist2U deliver all types of prescriptions including over-the-counter medications?

Yes. All the prescription medications you would find in a typical pharmacy are available for dispensing and delivery from our network of partner pharmacies. We also deliver a wide range of over-the-counter medicines, in addition to all the products you would find in your local chemist.

Some medicines require special handling or approvals, and our team ensures all regulatory requirements are met before delivery. Just make sure you ask your doctor for an eScript and download the app to get started.

Do I need to be at home to accept the delivery?

Whilst we understand it’s not always possible for our customers to be at home to accept their medication deliveries, we always encourage this. But for some medications, including Schedule 8 (S8 Controlled Medicines) and temperature-controlled medicines, you are required to be at home to accept your delivery.

What is the Special Access Scheme?

The Special Access Scheme (SAS) is a TGA pathway that allows patients to access medicines not approved or registered in Australia’s Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), when prescribed by a healthcare professional with appropriate justification.

Can Chemist 2U deliver medications approved under the special access scheme?

We support patients with valid prescriptions by offering home delivery and dispensing services for prescribed medications, including those accessed through authorised prescribers or the Special Access Scheme. A signature is required upon delivery, meaning someone must be home to accept them.
