How to get an eScript?
You can get an eScript through telehealth or during your in-person consultation with your GP. When your GP prescribes you medication(s), you can request an eScript to be sent to you directly through SMS or email.
Most pharmacies throughout Australia now accept electronic prescriptions, making an eScript convenient and easy to use for anyone.

If you need a new prescription, InstantScripts make it easy to express renew your prescription online, or you can request a telehealth appointment with one of their Australian-registered doctors.
How do repeat eScripts work?
eScripts also store your repeat scripts and each time your repeat medication is dispensed, a new QR code token will be sent to you by your pharmacy.
Ensure you keep the SMS or email containing the QR code, as deleting it will require you to get another eScript from your GP.

Are eScripts safe?
eScripts are incredibly safe as they are only sent to the intended user. The prescription is encrypted, meaning that the information in the eScript is hidden from anyone besides you.
The eScript QR code hides all your personal information and prescription details – the information can only be accessed when it is presented to your pharmacist, making eScripts much more secure than paper prescriptions.

How to add your eScript to your Chemist2U order
How to add your eScript to your Chemist2U orderStep 1: Screenshot your eScript(s) on your smartphone/desktop. The screenshot can be taken from your email or SMS.
Step 2: Select the + button in the bottom bar of the Chemist2U app.
Step 3: Select “For eScript”, to upload your digital prescription.
Step 4: Select the “Upload eScript” button. Select your screenshot (photo) of the eScript you have saved in Step 1.
Step 5: Once uploaded, you may enter multiple eScripts to receive multiple prescriptions of medication within one delivery. You can select “Continue” when you’re finished uploading your eScript.
Step 6: The form will ask you to select a medical profile or create one if you haven’t used the app before. The medical profile will require your first name, medicare card number and reference number, concession card number, year of birth, potential allergies and other current medication you are taking. Select “Save Profile” once finished.
Step 7: Review your details and select “Submit Script” once you’re finished. The script item will then appear in your shopping cart. You can add multiple scripts into your cart by repeating the previous steps by selecting the “Keep Shopping” button.
Step 8: Select “Go to Checkout” to proceed to the checkout screen. This is where you can review your order, delivery address, additional details and any additional fees. This is also the last opportunity to add additional pharmacy items to your order.
Step 9: When ordering prescriptions, Chemist2U reviews the scripts and you will you will receive notifcation of approval via SMS and in-app notification.
Step 10: You can then pay and the order is then sent to our pharmacy partner to be filled before we deliver to your door.
